AddOn-Registration

Hallo there!

About an hour ago I purchased some of the free MapForge-AddOns in your shop, because I wanted to try out the features of your programm. But sadly I am not able to register my AddOns in MapForge. I got no registration code via E-Mail and it's not possible to type in my mail-adress directly, because I can't make the @-symbol. When I use my ALT GR-key (+Q) to do so, some of the buttons in the MapForge menu are activated instead of the typing of the @. Also it's not possible to copy and paste my mail-adress in the registration-box.

I use version 1.0.6 on windows 10pro, 64 bit.

Sorry, I never saw this post until now. It seems I don't always get notified of posts, for some reason.

In any case, the answer to your question is that free Add-Ons don't need to be registered (nor can they be). Registration is only for paid Add-Ons.

In recent releases of MapForge, you can shift-click the email field to have the app insert an "@" symbol. This is only required for users with international keyboards not set to English mode.
