Auto tiles?

Since I couldn't find anything on this, I guess there is no auto tile feature (like in the RPG Makers) yet. Is such a feature planned for the future?
(Auto tiling is useful for paths, water, and similar things, that consist of multiple tiles and usually aren't simply put on a map, but have an unspecified size and form.)

Hi exec,

There is the new upcoming terrain brush (found in master branch or
daily builds), which lets you draw terrain with appropriate terrain
transients to othre terrains.

Also there is Automapping, which is described in
https://github.com/bjorn/tiled/wiki/Automapping
Note that there is also a major change from the latest stable release
(0.8.1) to the current master or daily builds.
The Automapping is a powerful as you can express a plenty of map
transformations in the input/rule/output format.

Actually both systems Stefan mentioned work already (if you use a
daily build), but you may need some help setting it up. Quickest could
be to join the #tiled IRC channel on irc.freenode.net and ask for
help. If you stay long enough you're bound to get a response.

Thanks, but I was talking about the terrain feature. I'm aware of the many auto mapping tuts.
