Hello, I would like to request a feature.

I would like to add an image and move it pixel precision. So far the closest thing that I can do is add tiles and move them pixel perfect with objects.
The problem is when I want to add something that don't fix in a tile, like my game main screen.
The only work around that I found is creating a tileset for every image that I want to add to my main screen, for which I need to remember it's size and becomes real painful to work with (having to switch between tileset all the time to find just 1 image).

One solution will be being able to move Image layers, and even better if image layer was actually a layer and not a full image.
The other one will be to allow the object to add images and not just tiles (I will love this).

Of course any other solution is fine, I'm just making suggestions trying to help.

Thank you.

You can add images as independent objects on a Object Layer with the "Insert Tile" button, they will act as objects with texture and move freely on the map without been fixed by the tile position.

If you read his mail carefully you'll notice that he's aware of that.
His problem is with using images of different sizes.

Your solution is to use a recent Tiled daily build instead of the 0.9.1
release. This is because I've implemented a new kind of tile set that is
just a collection of (individual) images rather than cutting a single
image into same-sized pieces. You will find this option in the New
Tileset dialog and then you can use a + button below the tile set view
to add images to it.

In the daily build you can also move the position of an image layer, but
only via the Properties window and you'll probably still want to use the
above method apart from maybe background images.
