Hi there !

First of all, I'm a young french teenager so I'm very sorry for my bad english.
I've just started to use Tiled today. I want to make a comic with the maps I'm making with it.
But I have a big problem. When I'm saving the pictures the quality is very bad comparing to the picture's quality in the software.
Could you help me to increase the quality of the pictures ?
Just please I want you to write clearly. Thanks.

Have a nice day !

Hey Rinjiyu,

Make sure you save as .png and not for example .jpg. This should make
sure there is no quality loss in the saved image. I hope that helps.

Bjørn

Ok but I can't choose the extension. :(
The software is already choosing for me.

Hmm, it should not add an extension for you if you type one yourself.
Which operating system are you using?

Hey I have downloaded the 0.9.1 version for Windows.
I took a picture of my problem there : http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2014/33/1408007479-tiled.png
Thanks for your future help.

Hey !
Sorry because I didn't understand what you mean but now everything is clear.
Finally I changed the extension and saved my map as a png.
But as you can see here: The quality is as bad as before.

Thanks for your help.

Can you please show an example picture of this bad quality?

Ah, that's just the smoothing of the image, which indeed should be
turned off or at least follow the same logic as Tiled does when deciding
whether to smooth the map in the map view.

Fortunately for you, it's easy to work around by unchecking "use current
zoom level" (or making sure your zoom level is 100% when saving) and
then scaling the image up in an image editor using nearest neighbor
instead of linear interpolation (if you need it at 300%, that is).

Bjørn
