Excel 2013 and MapDisto 2.0.b111.XL2013.Win

Hi there,

I'm checking someonelse's linkage group for a BC1 population and thought i'd chuck it into MapDisto which i've used successfully before.

However, i've since got Excel 2013 and so have downloaded the latest version (MapDisto 2.0.b111.XL2013.Win)

I've finally got my RIL marker and individual data in and read. However, I don't get a map  - all markers are at position 0.00!

when I run ripple order (or any other function) I get this:

Initial map SARF: 0.00000;  Initial map Log-Likelihood: 0.000;  Initial CorrSum: 36.600; Ripple did not find any better order.

 

Please do you have any advice? Is it an excel problem or a bug?

Hi Anna,

I’ve pasted your data in a fresh copy of MapDisto I didn’t find any issue. Attached a drawing of the linkage group. You should try to download a new copy a paste the data again :)
