Google Maps API

Hi

I have signed up for a Google Maps API key

and received it with the code example for a location map somewhere in
the US,
How do I then add the specific location in London that I need to add
to the website complete with zoom facility and an arrow.

Other parts of google are well explained with videos even but not this
area
