Merge Maps

I have several maps for each region of the US. Is there a simple way
to merge these locations to one national map?

As a user, I think the best way would be to create a new national map
with the data from the regional maps.

I would recommend the following:
- Export each regional map (using the Export link). The data from each
map will download into a CSV file.
- In a text-editing program (like Notepad), open each CSV file. Copy
and paste into a master, national file.
- Save this file as something like "national.csv."
- in MapBuilder, create a new map.
- In the new map, click on the "Import" link. Follow the directions
there.

Your data points from the regional maps will now be on the national
map.


There are some downsides:
- If you have to update a data point, you will need to update the
information on each map individually.
- If you had points that share the exact location, only one will
appear on the map.
- All of the colored points on the map will be the same color, unless
you manually change each one.
