Is it possible to save my map and have it printed in an enlarged hard copy for a presentation. Please let me know or do I need to go another route.

Unfortunately it's not possible to save and print map.
You may try to export your data and load it into standard google map https://maps.google.com/ and print a hardcopy for presentation if Google Maps Terms of Service allows it.

You can try ZeeMaps (http://www.zeemaps.com). Create a map, and then use the Print or Share > PDF/JPEG image and see if that works for you.
