Mission Awareness Programme (MAP)

 

Dear MAP Committees and Participants,

 

Today, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Najib bin Razak has announced the dissolution of Malaysia’s Parliament.

 

For your information, in within 60 days from today, the Malaysia General Election will take place. The last state will dissolve it state government is Penang on the 6^th May 2013.  The actual date of General Election will be announced soon by the Election Commissioner.

 

MAP is schedule on the 7^th – 13^th May 2013. As such, it might clashing with the General Election.

 

Since that, we have contacted the Village Head, Mr. Hamdan today afternoon. He has proposed us that to postpone the MAP after the General Election because most of the village working committee will be very busy for the next two months. Even, the Village Committee has decided to postpone any programmes or events.

 

This is a very hard news for MAP. In due to respect the village decision, MAP will be postponed to a new date to 3^rd  – 7^th September 2013.

 

MAP Committee would like to seek apologies for this decision.

 

Hope that all participants still can commit to this programme.
