for second time , islands south Iran are under water

Hi , for second time , Islands southern iran and Located in Persian
Gulf are under watter .

I am really worry about this data be published in Google Maps This
way ...

can you make us more Clear what we must do ?!

is the only way to show island over water is no water in that area ?!
and as Qobad did last time make shape of water the way doesn't have
any contact to island . or if we edit shape of island or delet old one
and draw new the Problem will be solved ?!

Hi Mohammad Reza,
I see the problem here. But redrawing the islands won't render them
above water. There are only two solutions for this:

1. Delete the Persian Gulf water polygon (and/or)

2. Redraw the polygon as suggested earlier while safely excluding all
the islands. As you can observe, Kish Island (and some others) are not
submerged and are appearing over water because the water polygon was
drawn excluding those.

Please let me know if you have any other concerns.

Thank you for useful information , I used number 2 and and think the
problem be solved after next Rendering .

I think the way I modified the shape , this will never happen for any
other Islands there .

Hi,

I propose a third solution:
Ask the mapmaker development team to find a solution for this
problem(bug!?), e.g. whenever an island and a body of water overlap,
render the island above the water. Does it solve this problem?
