I just added a shape to a large building which was marked as a point.
After clicking save, the browser has been stuck at "Waiting for
csi.gstatic.com". I can continue to use the map (zoom, pan, etc)
normally, and even move around the nodes of the shape. Clicking Save
(or save as draft) again does not do anything.

When does csi.gstatic.com plan to respond, and how do I ensure that
the elaborate shape traced is not lost?

I'm using Firefox 3.6.3 on Kubuntu 10.04. The building in question is
Greenways Road MRTS Station, Chennai, India:

Firefox continues to be hopeful and wait for csi.gstatic.com, several
hours and wifi connections/disconnections later. :-)

Hmm... has stuff saved okay in the meantime, or still not?  Keeping fingers crossed... (and I'll try to find out what might be causing this)

In the meantime, you might do some digging via a search for that site.

Yes, editing has been working fine in other tabs. I've kept that one
problematic tab open, though I guess I can give up and get rid of it.
