Team

The schedule seems to be lining up best to start a week later, November 7.

This would give plenty of time to meet everyone, see things on the ground, organize the participants,
get the tech in order, and a million other little things without going through loads of stress.

Does anyone see any potential pitfalls starting a week later than we've planned so far?

Thanks
Mikel

Hi all,

Have you planned to meet the chief of Kibera? I met him once through Umande Trust. I think it would be a good idea to meet him, explain why the exercise is important and involve him in the process. He can also provide assistance, arrange security, mobilise the right people, etc.

Just a quick thought...

cheers,
Mark

Sounds good to me as well. In Kampala now but will be arriving in
Nairobi Saturday evening. Looking forward to meeting everyone and
getting started.

Good point. Yes, it's in the plans, thanks to Yves, but haven't acted on it yet.

Is there one chief for all of Kibera, or one for each village, or both?

I'll bring this up with Carolina for Kibera when I meet them today.

-Mikel
