I do run a family hotel and I can not change the rout,- because the
route planer lets the people think there is no accessible street,- but
there is!
so,- I am confused what to do?
thanks ahead for your help and advice,
Altstadt Hotel Garni Trumer Stube
Google map data for Austria is unfortunately not yet available for
editing in Map Maker, but Google has announced its intention to
include the remaining countries (most of the EU) in the future. The
standard procedure for map changes would be to address the problem to
the data provider (Tele Atlas, http://mapinsight.teleatlas.com/mapfeedback/index.php),
but quite frankly, their speed with regard to reacting to changes
leaves a lot to be desired.
From what I can see in the map of Salzburg, this part of Bergstraße is
a traffic-calmed area. Looking at the signature of the road (http://
maps.google.com/maps?
f=q&source=s_q&hl=de&geocode=&q=Trumer&sll=47.803268,13.045967&sspn=0.001333,0.003484&ie=UTF8&hq=Trumer&hnear=&ll=47.803375,13.045691&spn=0.001333,0.003484&z=19),
I believe that the road is marked as closed to traffic, rather than as
a local road with speed limit (if that's what it is). Naturally, the
route planner would then not go there.
Maybe someone from Google with access rights to the map data can check
and comment.
Kind regards
wolf
Actually,- thank you very much for your provided link!
I already did do the 2 changes on mapinsight.teleatlas!
1.) Bergstrasse is a normal street! there is a (stupid) traffic sign
where the road should actualy continue!
The Bergstrasse is accessible 24 hours a day 365,- the accessroad is a
normal street!
2.) the nearby- "Priesterhausgasse" - the one way road -->The
direction has changed!
Should I actually post this problem somewhere else,- so that an Google-
staff member with map-access-rights
could change this as soon as possible!??
kind regards,

1.) Bergstrasse is a normal street!
The street is accessible 24 hours / 365 days;- there is just a
(stupid) sign to confuse people!
2.) the nearby Priesterhausgasse has changed the direction of its one-
way road!
now you have to drive FROM Linzergasse OVER Priesterhausgasse TO
Bergstrasse
(already marked in teleatlas)
---> Should I post this question anywhere else,- so that a google
staff member with map-access
could change this as soon as possible?????
thak you very much for your helping ideas,
