Greetings everyone,

a new version of Portofino is out! This is a maintenance release that fixes several issues with Spring Boot deployments and improves the overall integration with Boot.

Heads up! We've also added a feature that required breaking the compatibility with the previous version of the CRUD action APIs. In fact, CRUD now supports plugging in new export formats (such as XML or CSV) through an extension without modifying the CRUD action itself. However, this means that custom CRUD actions that override the jsonXYZData methods will need to be adapted to the new API. That said, out-of-the-box CRUD actions and most customized ones won't require any modifications.

The full changelog is on GitHub. A guide for upgrading from a previous version of Portofino 5.x is in our wiki.

You can download Portofino 5.3.2 binaries, API documentation, and source packages from SourceForge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/portofino/files/manydesigns-portofino.

Library dependencies and project archetypes to build Portofino applications are available on Maven Central and on npm for the Angular UI. Also, a Docker image for the standalone Upstairs application to manage a Portofino instance is available on Docker Hub.

Finally, on the GitHub wiki you can find:

Sincerely,

Alessio
