More about Kentucky Refugee Ministries:

KRM is a non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing resettlement services to refugees through community and agency-based co-sponsorship in order to promote self-sufficiency and
successful integration into our community. KRM is committed to offering access to community resources and opportunities and to promoting awareness of diversity for the benefit of the whole
community.  KRM works with JCPS to enroll each child in school. Middle and high school students enter the ESL Newcomer Academy at Shawnee High School, which allows them to
focus on ESL for that first year after arrival.  KRM has a New Beginnings Tutoring/Mentoring Program, in which they strive to have a youth mentor for every home that has a school-aged
child.
