The Trail Boss Academy is a terrain based clinic that gives riders the chance to learn in a real world environment. The curriculum will be tailored to teach skills and best practices for the trails found at each venue.

We are so confident you'll love riding Ari that we apply the cost of your demo to your upcoming Ari bike purchase. Pricing is $150 per day and includes a custom setup. Do not hesitate if you are in need of apparel or equipment. The Ari outfitters have your needs covered from shoes to helmets and everything in between. Tailgate covers and hitch racks are available as well to make transportation safe and easy. We are happy to credit the cost of a day demo to your eventual bike purchase knowing that you can be confident in your decision. We have a full demo fleet with our newest Rangers, Rascals, Rail29s, Rovers, and Tirades in sizes S-XL to demo out of our Revel headquarters here in Carbondale, Colorado! For demo availability through any of our retail partners, please reach out to them directly.

We send out demo rides Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays our of our headquarters. You can use our handy booking tool here to reserve a ride! We frequently have weekend demos, so keep up to date with our event schedule above to see when Revel will be at an event near you!

For the US and Canada, head on over to the 'find a dealer' page and enter your zip code (or allow your browser to know your location) to find your closest retailer. If there's no one close, we have several options for authorized online sellers.

Booking a demo is simple! Scroll up to the button on this page that reads "Book Now" and follow the instructions provided. Please note that we do not accept bookings over the phone or via email to ensure a seamless and efficient booking experience for all our valued customers.

All Specialized Demo bikes come stocked with flat platform pedals. If you prefer to use your own pedals, bring them by and we will be happy to install them for you. Be sure to bring your own helmet. All demo riders MUST wear a helmet! In order to demo a bicycle, please have your ID and Credit Card ready. You will sign a liability waiver and must be approved for a credit card pre-authorization upon check out. A deposit may be required. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent present to sign a liability waiver.

Reservations for demo bikes must be made online. Click the link below to check real-time availability and complete your reservation online. You are welcome (and encouraged) to demo the bike wherever you choose to give you the best experience in real world conditions. Please review our terms and cancellation policy prior to booking your reservation.

We require a credit card to be placed on file in order to book your reservation, and you will be charged in full at the time of your demo. We require at least 48 hours notice for all cancellations - any cancellations within 48 hours of your reservation will result in a fee of 20% of your total demo cost, automatically charged to your card on file.

We offer a $20 per bike damage policy covering up to $250 in bike damage. Anything beyond that, or any amount of damage if you decline coverage, is the responsibility of the rider and must be paid in full upon return of the demo bike.

Unsure about sizing? Drop by the YT MILL Forchheim, and we'll get you sorted. There, expert advice is always on hand, and even if we don't have the model you want to test, our sizing is universal across our models, so you can be sure you've dialed in your perfect fit. To demo, you must be 18+ or accompanied by a legal guardian, and make sure you bring a helmet and ID along with you.

FULL POWER VS. SL

While all of our Turbo bikes are pedal assist trail machines, there are two different experiences you can have on our bikes. The Superlight (SL) system gives you up to 2x your power amplification with a 250w motor, and can be as light as 38 lbs. SL bikes have the characteristics of being light & nimble while taking the sting out of long climbs.

To help protect the trails in the area, we will not be sending out bikes on rainy days. If the trails are closed and demos need to be changed, we will contact you by 8:30am on the day of your demo to help you reschedule to a better day. Thanks for your understanding and assisting us in protecting our local trails.

As much as us here at Specialized Santa Cruz love racing bikes and want to see racers of all levels out competing, we unfortunately do not allow our demo bikes to be raced and will charge an additional $475 to your demo cost if you are found racing the demo bike. If you are coming to the area for racing, we can point you in the direction of one of the great bikes shops to assist in professionally building and tuning your bike before your event!

We have a limited supply of helmets and pedals, so we highly encourage bringing your own. We can supply standard flat pedals, SPD MTB, & SPD-SL (road) for a demo bikes. If you ride a different pedal, you will need to bring your own, which we are happy to install for your demo ride.

DAMAGE POLICY

We offer a $10 damage policy covering up to $250 in bike damage. Anything beyond that, or any amount of damage if you decline coverage, is the responsibility of the rider and must be paid in full upon return of the demo bike.

All rentals & demo bikes include: Giro helmet, Spurcycle trail bell, bottle cage, and choice of pedals. Let us know if you are bringing your own pedals and saddle. Repair kits: (pump, tire levers, tube) are available to rent for $5 per day. Repair kits should be returned as they were handed out. If any items are missing or used customers will be charged to replace those item(s) at retail value. Cable locks are also available upon request.
