Even more than the many new features and geometries, the increased performance and the new examples, we are excited because Manopt was improved by excellent new contributors:

Hiroyuki Sato contributed complex versions of the Stiefel and Grassmann manifolds;

Roberto Tron contributed geometries to handle relative camera information;

Sarod Yatawatta contributed a factory for complex semidefinite matrices of fixed rank; and

Hiroyuki Kasai, together with Bamdev, contributed a geometry for tensors.
