Attached is a scanned copy of Henry Thomas Johnson's death certificate.  HT Johnson was a son of James & Jane (Rollins) Johnson and a grandson of Richard & Patience (Mann) Johnson.

A tip of the hat to Clayton for shrinking it to postable size!  Death certificates for two of HT Johnson's siblings, James Charles Johnson & Cornelia Johnson Holland, to follow.

Thanks for posting this Steve.  The rest of you will want to know that the woman listed as Henry's mother on this death certificate was actually his wife, Edna Utley.  Obviously a mistake was made.

Steve, does this death cerficate say he died in Morrisville?  And where does it say he is buried?

Hi Clayton,

Yes, Henry T. Johnson's death certificate erroneously lists his wife
Emma Utley as his mother. And yes, it gives Morrisville as the place
of death. He suffered a stroke while working in the field and died at
home a few days later without regaining consciousness. I can't make
out what the certificate says about burial - "home graveyard," perhaps?
- but he is buried at Christian Chapel.
