Thursday 25 June. Three historic Parramatta sites . 34km

Meet 10am opposite Meadowbank Wharf.  Parking limited at Wharf due to river wall repairs. Free parking in Bank St and Meadow Crescent near Meadowbank Station, short downhill ride to the Wharf.

From the Wharf, we ride along the northern river frontage on the Parramatta Valley Cycleway (PVC), then up through North Parramatta to Lake Parramatta. Check out the swimming area and the historic dam wall. The  route continues past the old Parramatta Gaol, no access permitted but hear of some notorious past inmates. Continue on to the Parramatta site of the female factory. See the history depicted on a touch screen. Coffee at the precinct cafe. On to Parramatta Park, lap of Park optional then back to Meadowbank via PVC.

This is an easy paced  ride of 34km with  inclines, and one hill coming up from the Lake. Please let me know by email if you are coming . Cancellation by 7.30am
