AGM - Thursday 19th November '09 - The Spit 10.00am

All,

It is time that we had another AGM and in order to have more people
attend we have decided to make it the object of next Thursday's ride.
The idea is to meet at near the marina on the western side of Spit Rd.
at 10.00am.

There is also an opportunity to do other healthy activities such as
kayaking or swimming (we'll need to watch out for the Port Jackson
sharks).

As our business will take a short amount of time we will also be able
to participate in these activities and have a picnic lunch.

Might even be able to work in a bike workshop.

As there are no membership fees required in this group, anyone with an
interest in the group is most welcome to attend, vote and stand for
election to the three major positions.

Unfortunately the Bike and Pedestrian Meeting is scheduled for 10 am Thursday and Someone from Ku-ring-gai needs to attend - I suspect most inner North Shore Councils will have someone there - Ku-ring-gai most likely not.

So I won't be along - apologies.

Further to the original post on this thread it should be noted that no ride, as such, is planned. The intention is however, to ride down to the Spit and meet in the park next to the d'Albora Marina at 10am.

 

Should you be driving down there is plenty of parking available during the week during which time I THINK it is free.

 

Being close to the festive season I am of a mind to make a picnic out of this as well. So. Bring along a cut lunch and a few extra dollars for the hire of kayaks across the road. I also plan on a bit of "Show and tell" and perhaps doing a puncture mending excersize.

 

I will be leaving North Sydney Station at 9am and taking the picturesque route via Cammeray.
