Tuesday 20th Jan . Mona Vale /The Basin/ Palm Beach.

Hi All,

Meet at The old Flying Fox cafe Mona Vale now known as The Bay Bites for 0900 start to catch ferry, plenty free street parking around Mona St.

Ride via Church point towards West Head to Basin turn off around 16K hilly ride. Gravel road to Basin with a very steep decent. Good option to walk last steep hill for safety.

Ferry to Palm Beach , 1020 or 1120 if we miss the 1st one. Coffee stop at Palm Beach and back to Mona Vale via Whale beach coastline.

Lunch at Bay Bites.

Weather forecast not great will post about 730am Tuesday if ON.

Hi All,

As the Basin got flooded and is closed until this evening I will change the route.

Meet at Flying Fox for 0930 start. Ride to West Head return to Akuna Bay for coffee on to Terry Hills return to Church point via McCarrs creek. A long hilly ride but we can shorten it if needed.

Sorry l just realised that other route is too long with too many hills.

Maybe better start at Terry Hills, 0930 start meet at Expresso sandwich bar 1/6 Booralie rd.

Plenty parking in community centre car park.

Ride to West Head via McCarrs creek Road return via Akuna Bay cafe is open to Terry Hills.

That sounds a bit too hard for me. I would probably want to head back to Flying Fox after West Head. Others could continue if they want.
