I'm contacting you because of your links to cycling and cycling infrastructure and to let you know that Suzanne has been successful in its application to Standards Australia to have the 1993 AS2890.3 standard for Bicycle Parking Facilities reviewed.
There is one last hurdle though.
Standards Australia has agreed to provide the necessary resources to review the standard but is asking for evidence of support from the broader cycling community that a review is supported. They have asked that I coordinate this process.
Could you please read the letter Suzanne received from Standards Australia, look at the original proposal to them and write a quick email of support in review of the standards.

Her email is attached, she must finish this project by Friday 3 August. prior to forwarding these on to Standards Australia. Then the formal process of review should get underway.
I have attached our submission for your reference. It explains why our company wants the standard reviewed. We want to ensure the standards effectively address developments in the field since 1993. We believe the cyclist's experience must continue to be central to the development of the standards.
