Warringah Council is calling for volunteers at 22 locations in the LGA for
Super Tuesday bike counters. The event date coincides with exhibition of the
2010 bike plan, out of mothballs after 12 years.

For those who don't know, Super Tuesday is an annual bike usage audit that
began in Melbourne but is spreading nationally. Last year we counted bikes
for two hours in the Sydney CBD.
This year they are spreading out into the suburbs.
Every registered counter can nominate for $50 to be donated to their
organisation of choice.
ManMosBUG is an eligible organisation. Ten counters means $500 for the club
kitty. I'm registered already.

Register here: http://www.bv.com.au/bike-futures/91111/

Or call Warringah Council for info, 9942 2111.

Spread the word, thanks.

Excuse me for cross postings.

Hi Folks,

Mail just in from the Super Tuesday team – counters still needed in a
couple of areas- “In particular we are still seeking counters in
Waverly, Willoughby, Woollahra, Parramatta and Warringah.”

If you can find the time it worth $50.00 for ManMos (maybe good
Christmas party?) follow the link http://www.bv.com.au/bike-futures/91111/
and register.

Regards,

Tony

Hi Tony,

I have already signed up and been given my position. I'll be counting bikes
crossing the bridge at
Queenscliff into Many. It should be interesting and I also encourage others
to give it a go.

Hi Steve,

Unfortunately I can’t register for you. It appears others are having
problems and the suggested solution is to install ‘Firefox’ – it
works. Other suggestion is to use the local Library.

Sorry about that –certainly need you. NSW is only @ 73% currently.

Regards, Tony
