What happens at the end? Ellen Brody has become convinced that the shark is following her. It wants revenge against her entire family. Her friends pooh-pooh the notion that a shark could identify, follow or even care about one individual human being, but I am willing to grant the point, for the benefit of the plot.
My money is on the latter. I feel that Jaws 3D is laughably bad with with it's super poor 3D effects. Jaws: The Revenge is just frustratingly bad because it makes no goddamn sense. Why would a shark want revenge on Ellen Brody? How did it swim all the way to the Caribbean in like 2 days? Why does the shark look so stupidly fake?
I was a huge fan of all the jaws movies as a kid. I didn't care how bad some of them were. As a result I've seen every movie at least 50 times. A couple 9fndays ago Jaws the Revenge was on TV. I remember clear as day that Michael J. Fox did a cameo as the first victim, Sean Brody. That scream of him is unmistakeable, I even remember his name in the opening titles. To my amazement when I saw the movie a couple of days ago, some guy named Mitchell Anderson portrays him, not Fox. Please someone tell me they remember it the way I do xD
The film focuses on a now-widowed Ellen Brody (Lorraine Gary) after Chief Brody died from a heart attack, her conviction that a great white shark is seeking revenge on her family, particularly when it kills her son, and follows her to the Bahamas.
