Happened to my car at sub cellar!

Someone doesn't like my car's number and decided to break the car number plate, security have no clue what happened and how to handle it's not about the monettary damage I guess the question on security what can we do to improve the security in parking lot to avoid these damages.

Note they cleaned the area after the act.
