Hi folks,

As you may or may not know, I am farming on my grandparents' land this year. I currently have pigs, chickens, turkeys, cattle, bees and a garden. Lots of people have asked about coming by to see it, so to make it easy I'm putting on an "Open Farm Day" of sorts on Saturday, July 28th. You're welcome to come by at any time during the day and take a look around, but the festivities won't begin until later in the day. Supper will be a potluck situation, BYOB, and there will also be music, though I have yet to nail down exactly who will be providing the entertainment.

I also have chickens, turkeys, and beef left to sell, so I will put out an order sheet and price-list as well if you haven't already secured your animal products for the year.

Invite anyone you think would be interested.

Directions:
The address is 34 052, Langevin Road, Ste. Anne, Manitoba.

Take the Trans-Canada east out of Winnipeg until you get the cloverleaf at the #12. Take the exit for the #12 South, with signs for Steinbach. Follow the #12 until you cross the Ste. Anne overpass (about 2 miles), and then take your first right, onto the #210 West. Take an immediate right onto Langevin road. Follow that road for about two miles, keeping your eye out for a white bungalow with no trees around it at all - it's just plunked right into a canola field. Take the first driveway after that, which is a long driveway on your left-hand side. There are grain-bins visible from the road and the number at the end of the driveway is 34 052.

Here is a link to the Facebook event page.

Hope to see you there!

Ben
