Hello permaculture folks,
We are bringing in an amazing instructor from Washington state (Dave Bennink) to teach a hands-on building deconstruction workshop at the HMS centre in about a months time. The idea is to learn advanced building deconstruction techniques that makes demolition (building waste) obsolete. We will be deconstructing a small house in Clearwater and all of the materials will be store and then used in a building project at the Harvest Moon Learning centre the following year - you are all of course welcome to join us in imagining and building whatever it is we're collectively inspired to build from the reclaimed materials.
We have funding from the Waste Reduction and Prevention Program (MB Gov) and are offering a few subsidized course fees for those who want to attend but can't afford. The full price is $600 but we have spots on a sliding scale of $200, $300 and $400.
Please email
graha...@gmail.com ASAP if you're interested in taking this course.
