Manistee County Democrats:
Thanks to the great group of curious voters who were determined to learn more about US Congressional candidate Ben Ambrose at his open-to-the-public townhall in Manistee last Thursday night. The candidate took questions from the attendees and answered them
directly and to the best of his ability. Not everyone attending liked or agreed with his answers, but everyone saw that he was consistent, transparent, and empathetic to the challenges we all are facing. He realizes that he must work hard to earn the trust
and support of voters, and he certainly demonstrated that by holding this townhall. He clearly stated that he is running to represent all of us in DC and that he will consistently return to inform us of what he is working on as well as why and how he is voting
in the US House of Representatives.
It is time for the SUMMER PICNIC! Bring a dish to share to the village park in Onekama right on M22. Our grill master will prepare bratwurst from Sanders Meats, and we will have lots
of ice-cold ORANGE CRUSH to drink! We will fire up the grill at 5pm on Thursday, July 16. We will be presenting the 2026 Glenn Lottie Scholarship to a Manistee County high school graduate who will be pursuing a skilled trade career. We will
also be hearing from candidates for Michigan House and Senate. There will be yard signs for you to take home and show your neighbors who you are supporting in this year's election.
