We have a busy couple of days with opportunities for you to get educated and engaged!
TONIGHT AT 6:30PM in the Manistee County Democratic Party River Street office (across the street from the Blue Fish restaurant) we will be hosting a meet and greet for Karen McDonald who is running to replace term-limited Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. AG Nessel has done a fantastic job standing up to the chaos and corruption of the Trump regime by taking them to court in response to their actions to cut off funding appropriated by Congress and playing fast and loose with the US Constitution. Our next Michigan Attorney General must be as aggressive and focused to continue this fight in the courts since our incumbent US Representative refuses to speak out in support of his constituents. Come and talk with candidate McDonald to see if she can meet your expectations as our next Attorney General.
TOMORROW AT 10AM WE WILL RALLY ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF US31 FROM FIRST STREET NORTH TO RIVER STREET as Manistee joins 3000+ other communities across the USA in the NO KINGS protest. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors and join our community of progressive thinking citizens who value the rule of law and our democracy.
