Comment from the chair:
I am much more interested in what the candidates say about themselves than what they say about each other. There was some
acrimony in the debate, but if you focus on what each candidate says about their own positions, I believe you will find this debate insightful.
I saw two people working to solve the same problems with differences in approach. I came away being very impressed by both
candidates. I came away impressed by the solutions offered by both of them. I will proudly support either of these candidates.
They are different, but they are pulling for Democratic values, and both have good ideas for how to implement them. We are
very lucky to have two candidates of this quality.
We have an embarrassment of riches; our opponents have an embarrassment.
