Margaret,
BIG NEWS: On March 11 we're heading to the Michigan Supreme Court to STOP the Line 5 tunnel — and we need you there!
MiCAN is currently involved in the case against Line 5 at the Michigan Supreme Court, and our critical arguments will be heard there next week.
If constructed, the Line 5 tunnel would lock Michigan into 27 million metric tons of emissions annually.
It would harm land, wildlife, and Great Lakes wetlands. Cleaner alternatives exist — and they have not been adequately considered.
Make a real difference! Join us in Lansing to represent the millions of Michiganders who would be harmed by this fossil fuel project. Space in the courtroom is very limited, so we’ve arranged a separate venue where everyone can listen and participate, then we'll head to the courthouse steps for a press conference.
