Hello Manistee Dems,
As we close in on the MCDP county convention, as well as the state convention, I would like to share my support and endorsement of Barb Byrum for Secretary of State.
I support Barb Byrum for Secretary of State because she has real, hands-on experience running elections as the Ingham County Clerk, where she streamlined processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness and protected the integrity of the vote. As a former state legislator, she understands Michigan law and has a proven track record of standing up for transparency and fair access to the ballot. She’s not new to this work, she’s been in the trenches administering elections, and that experience matters.
