Manistee County Democrats!

I just received this from one of the most dedicated members of the Manistee County Democratic Party.  These words represent the way we all feel.  They say it much better than I ever could!

I do not know the country in which I live.

I do not understand the Christians who faithfully attend church
Alongside of me every week, but continue to support the chaos, corruption, and cruelty. 
How can they justify what this murderer does ?
WE  allowed  him to bomb  Venezuelan businesses and residential areas.
Kidnapped their elected official and his wife , and brought them to the
‘home of the free and the  brave’….  for justice I’m sure.
Nothing was done about him killing innocent people there.
It started when WE  blasted the fishermen out of the waters.
We ignored those egregious actions.
He never gave us proof that they were anything but  fishermen.
We didn’t seem to care
We seem to have a blood lust to smash, kill, annihilate ,anyone we don’t consider to be a successful white corporate executive,
We allowed him to send his Gestapo  into Minneapolis.
The masked  warriors , highly armed and dressed, managed to kill American citizens,, arrest masses of people, most of who never committed a line in their life.

Minneapolis wasn’t alone. They resisted!

With their signs, with their presence, with their never giving up.
He has Arrested  children ,smashed   into churches and schools, hospitals and courts in any place  that suited the president’s fancy.

Don’t tell me it’s safer in USA now.
Don’t tell me, we have a better way of life.
Don’t tell me it’s OK to sell off federal land.
Don’t tell me it’s OK for him to ignore global warming.

Don’t tell me it’s OK not to vaccinate children.
Don’t tell me it’s OK to remove everything about black history from our federal buildings.
Don’t tell me it’s OK for us to stop aid ,not just to our own people, but all those desperately starving people in the rest of the world.
Don’t tell me it’s OK to ruin public education and punish those universities that dare to say ,’wait , what ? no , we’re not going to do that.”
Don’t tell me it’s OK to gut the Kennedy Center and ruin the White House.
Don’t tell me it’s OK for one person to rename gulfs  and mountains and buildings.
Don’t tell me he’s a Christian acting like a Christian.
Don’t tell me, he gives one single hoot about you or me.
Don’t tell me other countries faun over him because he is so popular.
Don’t tell me other countries respect us.
Most of them either mock him, hate us, fear us, or think we’ve gone dark raving  mad.

I AM OLD.
I AM TIRED.
I AM SICK TO DEATH OF WHAT’S HAPPENING HERE.
YOU , I’M SURE COULD ADD A MYRIAD OF THINGS TO MY SORRY LIST 
OF THE ABOMINATIONS THAT HAVE  TAKEN PLACE WHILE HE’S BEEN THE PRESIDENT.
