Rebecca Amidon is running hard to flip the Red Michigan Senate seat that includes Benzie--District 32.
When she wins, it will be a great moment--that seat's been Red for so long! We almost won it four years ago, but funding was a big problem.
This time, it's different: The MDP rates it as a critical seat and brings strong support to the campaign, especially if party leaders see that she's doing well with her fundraising.
So she really needs our help right now! We're so happy Janet and Tim Taylor are hosting a reception at their place near Crystal Mountain this Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Here's a bonus: Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks will join Rebecca at this soiree. We'll get the inside scoop on good and not so good things happening in the Legislature.
