Dear friends,
Michigan has 38 state senate districts. Only a handful are competitive.
And District 32 is the most targeted state senate district this year.
Rebecca Amidon is running to hold—and potentially strengthen—the Democratic majority in the Senate.
If we lose District 32, we don’t just lose a seat: we lose the ability to move forward on affordable childcare and housing, affordable energy, public education, health care, clean water and the rights of working people across Michigan.
Amidon is not a run of the mill Democrat. She is a future-focused Democrat who isn’t afraid to challenge the norm. She knows what it is to grow up on a farm learning the value of hard work. She knows what it is to work your way through college
and then deal with college loans.
As a working mom, she knows how difficult it is to find quality childcare and lose job opportunities due to the cost of childcare. She is acutely aware of the fact that there are only two hospitals in the five-county district where mothers
can go to give birth.
This race will come down to a few hundred votes—and the difference between winning and losing will be the resources we have
right now.
Rebecca Amidon’s opponent is already backed by outside groups eager to shift Michigan’s agenda backward.
That’s why your support matters so much. A grassroots donation today directly funds field organizers, door knocking, local events, yard signs and the digital outreach we need to reach undecided voters in every corner of District 32.
Every contribution—every $10—expands our reach. When the district is this close, that reach is everything.
If you believe District 32 should be represented by someone who shows up for working families, stands up to corporate influence and fights for ALL of us , we are asking you to give today. And please consider giving monthly—a way to cover
recurring monthly expenses for staff, events and of course—gas.
The path to protecting the Senate majority runs straight through this district. Together, we can make sure Rebecca wins it.
