Precinct Delegates needed to file by May 5th

We have until May 5th to get Precinct Delegates filed for the August 4th ballot.  Each of the 16 voting precincts in this county needs delegates!! This is a great way to turn Manistee County blue.

We want you engaged in the midterm election. Please call Dawn Bense or Judy Cunningham for more information.  Let’s have a strong showing for the precinct delegates roles on the ballot. The precinct delegate's job is to help us get the vote out, help get people signed up for absentee ballots, and early voting.  We promote voting for our Democratic candidates.  We deliver the slate cards to Democrats with names of our candidates.  

We need more people involved to get the vote out!!!

You can get a ballot application (called Precinct Delegate Affidavit of Identity) from the Dems office, you can print an application off the Secretary of State's Website by just putting the words in the browser, or you can pick them up from the county clerk’s office and then fill them out right there.  If you fill them out at home, please do NOT SIGN the application.  Make 3 copies and bring them to the clerk’s office to be notarized.  

You can do this job without being on the ballot.  You can also choose which parts of this job you want to do.  There is a lot of flexibility for you to get involved in the many ways to help us get out the vote.  Call us for more information.
