Hello,

Double Haul Solutions (DHS) has been engaged to support the work of the Manistee Emergency Response Fire Agency (MERFA) Committee. This committee consisting of the City of Manistee, Filer Township, Manistee Township, Onekama Township, and Stronach Township are collaboratively exploring the opportunity to create a more resilient and sustainable emergency response operation through a regionalized service model. 

DHS is collecting insights to better understand community perspectives on the region’s emergency services operations, including comments, questions, and overall awareness.

As part of this work, we are inviting community members to participate in a brief survey. Survey responses will be reviewed in aggregate and combined with other information to help inform the committee's exploration and community engagement efforts.

The survey may require approximately 20 to 25 minutes to complete. While participation is voluntary, your input would be appreciated and valued by our team and the MERFA Committee.

Anyone have any more info?  A search for MERFA didnt come up with much.  Just an agenda item for the city of Manistee.  A link to a proposal would be great.  Im highly skeptical of this initiative
