John Lewis Day of Action: Voter Suppression

Hello Fellow Democrats:

It has started.  Last Thursday the Trump Administration instructed the FBI to raid the offices and homes of a Voter Registration Organization in Ohio.  Their offense?  Registering people to vote, especially black and other minorities.  

To honor the memory of John Lewis and to prepare for more and more raids as we approach the midterms, the Manistee Democratic Party will host the free viewing of RIGGED: A VOTER SUPPRESSION PLAYBOOK.  This movie is a bold and unapologetic catalog of actions the Republican party has taken and planned since Obama was elected President. This is a spellbinding movie that is a MUST for everyone who wants to keep our midterm elections from being sabotaged.  As we know, what is happening now has been long in the planning.
