We don't know the actual details, but I can tell you there are so many things we don't know, or see. I understand the hold out, but truly with the known history of cruelty demonstrated by this administration the risk to people continued to grow.
I believe going into this there may have been a thought that there would be a response of compassion or empathy to our American citizens, and this administration has neither. Additionally Speaker Johnson was happy to roadblock the swearing in of Grijalva and
in turn the release of Epstein files.
I understand the position they were in, and I was at a point personally of wondering when the Dems would change strategy. I w as happy those Dems were able to work out some items, but here is where we have to press on the gas again.
-
There is an accused child abuser still allowed to be in a minimum security prison. This requires an investigation as to how this happened.
-
The current president has a history of womanizing, and is disrespectful toward women, and the Epstein files provide even more creepy behavior and Dems must be relentless on this.
-
Be ready for December (now - like Slotkin is doing) to repeatedly talk about health care costs. Push for a PLAN from the republicans for health care changes - they say they have one. While people pay more in health care this mantra
of the republican party will get tiresome.
-
I would be on them right now regarding the lowering of tariffs - The president said these are good for us, he said that we will be 2,000 dollars (of our money we paid because of tariffs) and all groceries will come down. While did it
take him until NOW.

Keep pushing on the Economy, people can't afford life!!! While he builds elaborate buildings, throws opulent parties and provides billions to another country TO SAVE THEIR ECONOMY!!! You can just hear him saying "let them eat cake".
So this battle was one that was not success (but not total failure) but we need to keep adding our strategies to win the war!!!
Sorry to go on so long - as like many of you this is an issue that ignites some feeling
