What are you talking about cracking the unit open, I don’t think that is for us to do.  Paul  Adamski is the one who put it there, he needs to be called.   Lee or John had nothing to do with it.

As for the club, it does not seem to be going anywhere.  So with that there is no way we can get any new members.

Is anyone able to meet on Monday? If the club isn't going to continue, we at least need to sit down and settle on what we are going to do with the funds that are left, and what we are going to do with any items in storage.

OK not sure if there's going to be a meeting tonight or not just letting everyone know that I did talk to Paul I'm not sure if my message was not conveyed correctly by me but the lock was not put on the garage by Paul and that is why I'm going to be removing the lock I'm going to be going there right now due to the fact that I work nights I just woke up little while ago once I get it cut off we're going to have to replace it with another lock but at least I can tell you what's inside.

Let's all plan to meet on the 28th for a monthly face to face meeting and get this all talked out. Everyone bring ideas as to what you would like done with club assets if we do decide to fold, that way we can hopefully settle everything in one clean sweep if it comes down to that. 

Chris, does it look like we are missing anything from the storage unit? I know we should at least have the banners and pancake breakfast supplies there, but I have no idea what else would have been there. 

Marilyn, do you have any idea what else was being stored?

Do we want to all just meet at the storage unit on Monday instead of the Bungalow? We can dig through as a group and see what is there. I can be there at 6:15pm, but need to leave at 7:30pm to get my son at football practice. My husband started a 3rd shift job so we have an evening "kid shuffle" now.

I am sorry to spring this on everyone, but I received an email from District about our elections this year. Apparently we were supposed to hold our club elections in May and submit the info in June. We need to have this info in to the district office by the end of this week, so we will need to either elect our officers tonight, or decide the future of the club. I honestly thought that our election was supposed to be done and submitted in September so I didn't know we were overdue on this. 

On a sad note, my son's friend Haley lost her eight year battle with cancer over the weekend. She was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer this spring and gave it a really good fight. This was her third round since the age of six. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Okay guys, here is an update. 

There WILL be some classes on Friday and Saturday at the convention this year. My conference coordinator just spoke to Greg, and there has been quite a few additions. Here is what 

I would like to propose to the club. 

As a club, we cover the registration fee of $30, along with lunch and dinner on Friday so each member of our club can at least participate the first full day (the most will be happening that day). This will cost us a total of $85 per member and will give each person registration for the entire conference, plus lunch and dinner on Friday at the conference. If anyone wants to come back Saturday, the registration would already be covered, but meals would be paid on own. 

This will give us the opportunity to take advantage of some of the classes that will be taking place, and also the chance to pick the brains of other clubs to see if there is any potential at all for us to carry on. I think this would give us more knowledge moving forward so when we meet on the 18th we have full confidence we are making the right decision. 

Obviously Janet would likely not be able to attend due to injuries, so our total cost for this would be $400. Mine is only $60 because my lunch is comped on Friday due to opening the conference. 

What are your thoughts on this? 

Is anyone available and/or interested?
