Club secretaries – attached are items for this month which include:
1. Upcoming events– information about election of officers, prayer week, law academy, & spring divisionals.
2. US/Canada Goodwill Banquet – to be held this year in Port Huron. Any Michigan District club is welcomed to attend and share fellowship with our Canadian neighbors at this annual event. It’s “our turn” to host the event this year so please help us have good turnout!
3. One attachment (3 pages) that includes rules for the: 2016-17 club newsletter & brochure contest; the digital marketing contest; and the club scrapbook contest (the last item sent to you in advance so you can prepare your scrapbooks.) Please be aware of the deadline dates for each contest so your club doesn’t miss out. I’ll send you the rules for the scrapbook contest again in July. (Rules for all 3 contests are also posted on the District website: www.mikiwanis.org, Menu tab to Awards – Club & Division Contests.)
4. 2016-17 Round Robin form. We’re sending a copy now for clarification since the form has changed from what has been sent in previous years. This form will be sent to you again in August, towards the end of the administrative year.
5. National Pancake Day flyer from International, this includes a link to sign-up to volunteer. In October I’ll be sending secretaries a form for Children’s Miracle Network participation during the 2016-17 year, be sure to report your participation in this event for a CMN banner patch given at the 2018 Spring Divisionals.
