Who all is going to Medoc? I don't think they have a list of who's
coming on the website.

I'll be there, and I'm issuing this challenge for all MTC members:

Since I expect to be bringing up the back of the pack, here's a
challenge for those of you ahead of me (which is everybody else):

1. If you "lap" me on the first lap, I'll put your name in the hat
THREE times.
2. If you lap me on the second loop, you get TWO entries.
3. If you lap me on the third loop, you get ONE entry.
4. If you lap me twice, you get 3 entries for the second time.

At the end of the race, I draw two names out of the hat. First name
gets to choose their favorite charity - I'll make a $75 donation to
it. Second name out gets a $25 donation.

You have to tell me that you're MTC as you lap me, I'll get your
picture. I'll wear a sign on my back that says "MTC MEDCOC CHARITY
CHALLENGE".

Passing me from behind because you got lost doesn't count. At the ASC
Trail Marathon last fall I had three MTC runners pass me from behind -
3 times - and it was not a repeat loop! I'll rely on your honest for
this one.

Look forward to seeing you on the trails next weekend!

Excellent idea Ron.  I had plan to make it an easy run but now you're going make me run hard.  In addition, I will add $25 to the pot.

Does it count if you pass me and I'm a volunteer?

Ron, I will not be there but I love the idea. What a great way to have fun
and give to Charity at the same time. Like to see more of this. I'm off to
do the le tour de femme cancer ride in Cary. Have a great weekend!!

Hi Mark,

I’m running and will most likely camp Friday night if the weather cooperates.

Hey guys. We are really excited to see so much interest in Medoc this
year. Our race committee can't wait for it to get here. We just need
to keep the rain away.

You can see a lit of registered runners online by going here:
http://medoc.eventbrite.com/. Unfortunately the list is in reverse
order of when people registered, so you have to do a bit of scrolling
and going through pages.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the race!
