UPS problems

As some of you may know, our longtime UPS driver Reggie was fired last month. He has been our driver the whole time we've lived here, and we've had literally zero problems.

Whoever his replacement is, the new driver apparently sucks by comparison. 

I was expecting a package on Friday. No delivery, and no notice, although he scanned it as "unable to deliver" -- didn't call on the intercom, didn't do anything.

Today he supposedly attempted to redeliver at 11 a.m. -- Maggie was home, but he didn't knock, and didn't call either of us on the intercom.

This time at least he left an infonotice -- it has my name on it, *and* (randomly) Hesper's name on it. Hesper, if you were expecting a delivery today, I'm guessing they didn't make the delivery. 

I just called the depot & spoke to someone named Gretchen -- she's going to call the driver. If anyone else is expecting a package via UPS that has mysteriously not arrived, I'd suggest not calling the 800 number, but rather calling the depot directly: 919-683-8205

It's probably too late for Reggie to get his job back, which is too bad. Maybe FedEx or someone will hire him & their service will improve.

There was a UPS guy in the building last night around 6:45pm making a delivery.

FYI...
Today (8.17) along with two packages, I found my receipt for signature authorization of delivery taped to the glass outside of the building.
I received no notification of delivery (ie. Intercom.)
The packages themselves were on the ground outside the door.

Near as I can tell, they haven't got a full-time person dedicated to our route right now. So depending on the day, you may get someone who is unfamiliar with our building entirely. 

Your complaint will go furthest if you call the depot at the number in the email chain below. I agree that this is terrible behavior on their part.

Spoke to UPS depot rep Gretchen and gave her the building code.

She said she would address not leaving packages outside the building.
