Missing package

USPS says a package was left in my mailbox tonight at 6:51 PM.

Could you all check to see if it was left in another mailbox?

It has my daughter’s name on it Alexandra Jones but it did have the correct apartment number 305.

Let me know if you find anything.

I’ll keep my eye out for it. I know I’ve gotten tracking info that my package was delivered and it came the next day or two.

Is this a common issue for everyone? Would you like me to follow up with the post office? I know our neighbors at 515 have had issues with their package being robbed out of their package room.

I don't know how many packages have gone missing lately -- it doesn't seem like many.

But I can​ absolutely confirm that all of the delivery ppl, especially including the post office, will occasionally mark stuff as delivered & then come back and deliver it a day or two later. Happens all the time.

Terri, let us know if it shows up today or tomorrow!

Ross makes a good point. The post office even told me they do that very thing . 

Also, I had a package marked delivered by post office that was delivered in box 101 instead of my box 201.
