This version introduces a huge bump in version number, and for a good reason: we have started to clean it up and pack, on the way to releasing Version 1.0.

New in this version: no more installation pain under Windows! We have compiled it to executable thanks to the excellent py2exe, and even made an installer.

There are other minor fixes, including Unicode filename handling, better detection of foreign files in Manent storage dir, more clean close-up of database connection and more.

1) What does the "info" command do and what is its syntax ?
2) Why on Earth don't you allow installing to anything else than Program Files/Manent ? And why do you only SAY this AFTER installlation ???
3) Error from integration test (unittest ok) see below - does it mean I cannot use manent to continue backup ?

manent info <backup> increments

Sorry, this is the first installer I wrote. I'm creating c:\windows\manent.bat, and I need to update it dynamically depending on the installation target. This I can't do yet - it requires scripting and is much beyond what I could do in 1 hour I spent on it.

Anyway, how do you feel about the installer? Is it a significant improvement over previous experience?

3) Error from integration test (unittest ok) see below - does it mean I cannot use manent to continue backup ?
Strange, worked for me. Will investigate.
