Rewire in Windows 8.1 Pro 32bit doesn't work

Hello,
Rewire doesn't work in Windows 8.1 Pro 32bit but it works in Windows 7 - 32bit.
On Windows 8.1 Pro 32bit If I activate ad_rewire from Driver drop down menu my Output Channels 1/2 don't automatically get set to ReWire Out 1 / ReWire Out 2 as it does for Win 7.
Does anyone had a similar problem ? What could possibly cause this and does anyone can suggest a solution to resolve this ?
