Thanks for the response to my earlier post. Between Jutas & Van Schaiks I managed to sort out my textbook problems. So now I'm all set and ready to EMBRACE our 1st assignment with the required tools!!!

 

People, I'm excited and energised at the prospect of working with such a vibrant and goal focused group. Lets make our motto this year and next year Carpe Diem, loosely translated as Seize the Day!

 

We spoke about dividing the questions in the HRM Assignment amongst the group to faciliate critical analysis and contribute to the fashioning of our individual reports.

Bearing this mind would there be any objections to the following:

Edwina, Freddy, Noreen and Dionne - consider questions 1 & 4

Grant, Anthea, Winston and myself -  will reflect on questions 2 & 3

 

This ensures fairness in the the distribution of the degree of complexity as both mini groups have an opportunity to faciliate a critical appaisal (discussion) and perform an analytical reflection on parts of our assignment. Does this meet with everyone's approval?

 

Grant, Anthea and Winston could we perhaps meet this week to fine tune our thinking and strategy for next week's group feedback?

 

Have a pleasant and hardworking session tonight!!

Ok so Edwina, Dionne and Freddy, which day suits you and where is the preferred place of meeting??

 

I just realised that its a hell of a lot of work. However, if you think about it , the content should be about 1250 words per question ( ladies i am sure that this is much less than we talk half a day)... moral of the story is that we can do this... somehow.

 

So any takers for Town or any other preferred place???

Hi Everyone,

I'm glad that you are all comfortable with the arrangement to meet on
Saturday, Winston its cool, we can start at 12h30. I've taken the
liberty of including a map for directions to our offices. We are
located in the Business Connexion Building in the East Block (cross
the little bridge straddling the canal) on the 1st Floor. We normally
have students studying at our offices on weekends but I'll organise us
a boardroom with some privacy and access to the photocopier.
