Upcoming Events @ Your Library

Mon. Oct. 4, 7pm
Benefits of Relaxation Therapy
Relaxation therapy can help everything from your stress level to your blood pressure. You're invited to come to the library Monday evening for an introduction to the practice with Marie Pierce of Arbor Hospice. Program is FREE and open to the public, no registration required.

Wednesdays at 10am -- Oct. 5, Oct. 12, Oct. 19
Wiggle, Giggle, Grow!
Preschool storytime is a great way to enjoy the library with your little one and begin introducing basic elements of reading. Songs and crafts round out storytime with Youth Services Assistant Karen Seghers.

Please call (734-428-8045) or stop by to pre-register so that we may prepare enough materials.

Sat. Oct. 8, 10am-Noon
Friends Donation Day
It's the last Donation Day of the year! Bring the Friends your gently-used books, audio books, and movies this Saturday, and they'll use your donations to stock the Friends booksale on the 2nd floor. Proceeds benefit library programs.

Donations are accepted in the Village Room, located just off the rear parking lot. Donation Days will resume in the spring.

Every Wednesday at 3:30pm
LEGO Club
Kids ages 5 and up get together every Wednesday afternoon to build LEGO creations using the library's bricks. No registration required; creations are put on display until the following week's building session. No registration required; free and open to the public.

Wed. Oct. 26, 7pm
Book Discussion Group
You're invited to join the book group! This small and friendly group of readers selects a variety of types of books to read and discuss every year. The selection this month is A Man Without A Country by Kurt Vonnegut. Copies are available at the desk; no registration is required for the discussion group.
