- Kids: turn in 5 weeks of reading to receive an invitation to the finale pizza party on the 29th, plus earn AR points for the new school year. Turn in weeks 6 and 7 for chances to win something in the Grand Prize Drawing -- we'll be giving away free passes to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and 10 other area attractions.
- Teens: Complete 5-10 activities to earn prizes like free pizza from Ollie's and movie passes to the Clinton Theater. Finish 10 activities to enter the Grand Prize Drawing for a new backpack from Pyramid.
- Adults: Get great little prizes every time you turn in a book review, and turn in 4 book reviews for the chance to win a custom-made library travel mug.
All summer reading events and prizes were funded by the Friends of the Library this year. Please consider supporting the Friends by shopping the booksale on the 2nd floor, donating on Donation Days, or volunteering. See the Friends blog for more information.

Summer Reading Program Grand Finale
Dinosaur Stories with PaleoJoe
Friday, July 29th, 6pm at the Ackerson Gym, 410 City Rd.
It's the final program for summer reading 2011! Finish off the summer by exploring dinosaurs with PaleoJoe. He'll bring a T rex tooth, a Velociraptor skull, dinosaur puppets and a variety of amazing fossils to help make dinosaurs come to life. Don't miss this exciting, high-energy program -- you'll feel like you're actually walking with the dinosaurs, millions of years ago. No pre-registration required, no charge. All ages welcome.
Mark your calendars!
The Manchester Medieval Faire is returning on August 27th, 12-6pm, at Carr Park. Exhibitors from two area SCA chapters will be on site and in costume to demonstrate what life in the middle ages was like. Additional activities, from crafts to games, will round out the experience for all ages. Huzzah!
