Welcome Autumn!
Upcoming library events include:
Saturday, Oct. 23 -- 1pm Oak Grove Cemetery Walk
Meet up with local historian Karen Jenter for a personalized tour of Oak Grove Cemetery. Karen has done extensive research on the cemetery's residents and will share stories and history as attendees enjoy walking through the site. End the tour with hot cider and doughnuts, and take home your own copy of Ms. Jenter's booklet about this beautiful and unique part of Manchester history.
Pre-registration/ticket purchase is required; tickets are available at the library for $5 each. Proceeds from the event will go into a fund to replace the microfilm machine in the Local History Room.
In case of inclement weather, the tour date will be moved to Sat. Nov. 6.
